I have not been so great at keeping you updated. We've moved 2 times since I last posted, and now we are residing in the Banta's home until we get back in to school. It is somewhat of a relief, but still, if you have ever lived with other people, you know it can be hard sometimes. I have learned a couple things along this crazy journey of ours though.
One, is to be thankful for what I do have. After moving, and getting rid of a lot of STUFF, I will always still have my family.
I have been somewhat consumed with having a lot of things, as were my parents, and basically the entire rest of my family. It is not a bad thing to have material things, but I have learned through the process of moving 3 times in the last year, that I am not going to live a cluttered life. Therefore, my new motto is "live a simple life." It comes from a lot of things, but I think I have finally realized what matters most.
Good thing huh?
By the way, it has been exactly 3 years since I was baptized. AMAZING. Still one of the best decisions of my life.

Wow, lots of moving. I'm sorry :( It's hard to live with other people, I definitely agree. I love what you said about living simply. It's hard, but a good thing to work toward!
It made me SO happy to see your new facebook pic =)Congrats on 3 years! YAY!
I love the picture on the top of your blog. I'm glad you're figuring out what's important this early in life. You won't have so much stuff to get rid of later!!! My mind is such a racket of clutter and all the stuff we have contributes. I am glad your baptism was a good decision for you. I knew it would be. How could it not?
